Meet the Business Owner: Ben Stevenson from Fever Clothing
A passionate local leading the way when it comes to showcasing his impressive collection of designer brands for men and women in both clothing and accessories that are edgy, funky and different from chain stores.
AlburyCBD: Tell us a little about your journey with Fever Clothing.
Ben: I’ve been running Fever Clothing since we first opened in Myer Centrepoint in 1999. After 13 years there, we moved to our current location on Olive St, where we’ve also spent the last 13 years. It’s been an incredible journey for us, and I’m truly passionate about what we offer. From our extensive denim collection to the edgy streetwear. My wife, Danielle, and I have put our hearts into this business for the full 26 years.
AlburyCBD: Tell us about Fever Clothing. What’s your why, and what do you love about running your business?
Ben: Fever Clothing is home to some of the leading brands such as Armani, Boss, Gant, Lacoste and Tommy Hilfiger, among others. I genuinely love getting new stock in and helping people find their perfect outfits. Product knowledge is key for me as I’m in the store seven days a week and know everything inside and out. I thrive on repeat business and enjoy building relationships with our customers. It’s fulfilling to see them walk away happy with outfits that reflect them.
AlburyCBD: Could you share some highlights from your products? Do you have a favourite piece?
Ben: We have a vast selection of denim for both men and women, offering various styles, cuts, and colours to suit everyone. Our collections are not just about streetwear; we also cater to formal events, weddings, racing events and activewear. Plus, we have a large array of footwear and accessories.
I’m particularly excited about our new Hugo Boss collection arriving in April. It’s a high-end range that fits perfectly alongside our other premium brands like Armani, Gant, Lacoste and Tommy Hilfiger. The higher-end options are my favourite!
AlburyCBD: What do you love about being in the AlburyCBD?
Ben: One major advantage of being in Albury is experiencing all four seasons. This allows us to continuously refresh our stock for spring, summer, autumn, and winter, ensuring our customers always have access to the latest styles.
Also, the community here and the support we get from customers and local businesses make it a special place to be.
AlburyCBD: Any advice for someone looking to shop at Fever Clothing?
Ben: While we have a fantastic online store with worldwide shipping, we love and encourage everyone to visit us in person.
