AlburyCBD: Why did you decide to move locations?

Made Store: We had outgrown our little space in Swift Street years ago. However, I was waiting to find the perfect new space for the store. It had to be something special – David Street was worth the wait!

AlburyCBD: What’s exciting about where you are now?

Made Store: Our new space was incredibly hard to restore after being used as offices for many years; however, it has paid off. We love it. It is bright, breezy, calming, very social and has all the space we could ever ask for to showcase our beautiful collection as well as pursue additional creative projects.

AlburyCBD: What do you love about being in Albury CBD?

Made Store: The Albury CBD is beautiful with its big old shade trees, twinkle lights in the evening and heritage buildings, but also beautiful in its community. Our fellow business owners and their teams are supportive and great cheerleaders of each other.

Albury CBD customers are also fabulous. It is a very creative and community-minded group, both business and customer communities. There is a relaxed atmosphere of grabbing a coffee and having a wander. We are spoilt for great coffee, food and bars.

AlburyCBD: Do you have any new services or products?

Made Store: Although we have a new name and new location, it is still us, with our much-loved collection of labels and products. With more space, we have been able to add some new labels and larger furniture pieces, and we also have plans for some creative projects up our sleeves!

AlburyCBD: Tell us about your new brand – what do you want people to know about you now?

Made Store: Our new branding represents the value I place on the stories of our products and the brands we work with. Made by hand, not mass-produced. Made with care for our environment and made to be treasured for years, perhaps even handed down as a keepsake. My family history is strong with “makers”, and I am naturally drawn to creative people, beautifully made objects and earthy, natural design.

Salon Mysa, formally Boudoir Hairdressing – currently 465a Dean St and moving to a purpose-built location in early 2023

AlburyCBD: Why did you decide to move locations and rebrand?

Salon Mysa: We’re moving locations in 2023 into a purpose-built salon. Mysa is a sense of being, it’s about taking a moment away from your daily tasks and enjoying it with all your senses.

AlburyCBD: What’s exciting about your new location?

Salon Mysa: Our new space is client focused, with strong sustainable intentions.

AlburyCBD: What do you love about being in Albury CBD?

Salon Mysa: The little pockets of coffee shops and boutiques opening up in little side streets.

AlburyCBD: Do you have any new services or products?

Salon Mysa: We will have new offerings coming in 2023.

Express Yourself: Shop 2, 580 Dean Street, Albury.

AlburyCBD: Why did you decide to move locations?

Express Yourself: Express Yourself was very popular, and we grew out of our 499 Dean Street store very quickly. We love what we do, so we thought, why not get a bigger shop and invite more clients in to see us.

AlburyCBD: What’s exciting about where you are now?

Express Yourself: It’s big, bright, pink and beautiful. Loads of parking down this end of Dean Street, too. We have many more lash stations and room for makeup and brows all at once.

AlburyCBD: What do you love about being in AlburyCBD?

Express Yourself: The buzz. We love seeing our clients out and about. They drop in on lunch breaks or while running errands. Never a dull moment in the salon; it’s great.

AlburyCBD: Do you have any new services or products?

Express Yourself: Lots! We are now selling more products like silk pillowcases, lashes, cleansers and even makeup to come. We can’t wait to share this with you all!

AlburyCBD: Tell us about your brand – what do you want people to know about you?

Express Yourself: The Lash and Brow Group brings the old-fashioned appointment-based service and combines this with the express yourself walk-in service. We pride ourselves on accessibility and ease. We work in with our clients to ensure they find time for them. Our services are not just lash and brows. We also do full makeup or just eyes for that quick pop in before a night out.
