Meet the Business Owner: Roxy Marshall from Ardor Albury

Roxy’s journey into wellness began as a pursuit of peace in the hustle of the corporate world. With a passion for yoga and community, she’s transformed Ardor Albury into a sanctuary for those seeking balance and connection.

AlburyCBD: Tell us a little about yourself – what’s something about you people might not know?

Roxy: I started teaching yoga in 2019 as an outlet from the corporate world. My husband and I moved to Albury Wodonga in early 2020, and I began my journey with Ardor later that year. When the opportunity arose for me to take over from the founders in January 2025, I knew it was a chance of a lifetime, and I embraced it completely.

AlburyCBD: Tell us about Ardor What’s your why, and what do you love about running your business?

Roxy: Ardor is a space to discover the connection between movement and stillness. I love creating a supportive environment where we can provide wellness in all its forms to our entire community. There’s nothing more fulfilling than witnessing the growth and transformation of our members from their first visit to now. Our mantra is ‘Empowered Body, Nurtured Heart,’ is what we are all about.

AlburyCBD: What’s a challenge you’ve had to overcome in business?

Roxy: Purchasing an existing business comes with its own set of challenges. While I’ve tackled many of them so far, I know there will always be more hurdles to overcome. It’s a continuous journey of learning and adaptation.

AlburyCBD: What would you be doing if you weren’t running Ardor?

Roxy: Honestly, I can’t think of anything I would rather be doing right now. Our community needs a space to slow down, heal, and grow, and I feel so grateful to provide that through Ardor.

AlburyCBD: What do you love about being in the AlburyCBD?

Roxy: Being located in the heart of the CBD is inspiring. It shows that even amid the hustle and bustle of daily life, we can still find time for ourselves and find stillness.
